SMLC to Lead Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute, Focus on BioPrinting Contest

This week, during third annual SelectUSA Summit, President Obama announced that the Smart Manufacturing Leadership Coalition (SMLC) will lead the new Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute. This institute will focus on advancing the manufacturing capabilities in the United States, and will feature five manufacturing hub competitions, one of which will focus on 3D bioprinting to regenerate organs.
