Team UnLimbited Releases New 3D Printed Prosthetic, Team UnLimbited 2.0 Arm – Alfie

Both e-NABLE and Team UnLimbited have big news as they’ve released their newest design, the Team UnLimbited 2.0 Arm – Alfie Edition. Created by founders, and e-NABLE volunteers, Stephen Davies and Drew Murray, this builds on both the 1.0 arm, as well as the 1.7 Isabella Edition, recently given to an eight-year-old girl in the UK to beta test. Stephen and Drew knew that they were going to have to work on the design however, in terms of scalability for children as they grow past the age of seven. Months and many, many hours or hard work later, they are able to introduce this new open-source and fully parametric arm that can also be easily printed from Thingiverse by users who are also invited to beta test the arm and provide valuable feedback.
