Japan Forms 3D Printing Alliance With Nissan, and others to Spark Manufacturing Gains

We have already seen where China and The United States have invested heavily in 3D printing technology, so here is another. The Japanese Government has announced a major investment to create an alliance around the technological progress of 3D printing within their nation. The alliance includes, Nissan, Panasonic, and 25 other major companies in the country.

The government hopes to have high tech titanium printers available by 2019, with prototypes developed by next year.
