Canadian Man 3D Prints Quite The Rifle

It's been hugely controversial, but 3D printed guns seem to be here to stay. Now a 3D printed rifle has been printed from PLA. It's based on a Ruger 10/22 semi-automatic design, and the action for blow-back operated .22 caliber long gun was copied - and then modified - from the original design to withstand the pressures involved. Tristan, the Canadian man responsible for the project, says it's still easier and more practical to build guns with traditional methods, but he viewed the project as "purely an engineering experiment" and not a political statement.
