Nike Creates Incredible Ice Hat, Thanks to Help From 3D Printing

Ashton Eaton is a world record holding olympic decathlon runner, and Nike like standing behind athletes of his caliber. In doing so they are working on creating a pieces of headgear called an "Ice Hat" which will keep Eaton's head cool between events. The hat, which is basically an advanced and very cool looking ice pack had to fit Eaton's head perfectly. Nike decided to 3D scan his head and then print a replica in order to develop a 1:1 replica for building the perfectly fitting hat around.
