Iran's National Museum Engaged in 3D Printing to Restore Ancient Monuments

Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism Organization oversees several museums throughout the country, including the National Museum of Iran. In partnership with the country's Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, the National Museum is embarking on a project aimed at replicating and/or restoring ancient monuments with 3D technology. The project is still in its very early stages, so not much detail has been announced, but the project's leaders are putting out a call for any domestic companies that would like to be involved.
