If I have not received that mail yet, that means that I am not in the second tier?
They've stepped up their game with their packaging from the first beta, that much is clear from the start.
Also, from what I understand, no more duct tape needed in the making of the build enclosure. You'll have to fill us in on any other neat things they've done between P28 and P29.
No more duct tape, it's all "snap-in" !
^^^^ This. I second this suspicion.
perfessor101 how is your build going?
Rob
I received my kit on Friday and I'm excited to get started.
However, no instructions! I can't get to the beta forum to download instructions. (I assume they are posted there.) I registered on the forum last week and sent my username to the "info@peachyprinter.com" address to have my account activated but no response.
So I'm sitting here looking at a box of parts and can't do anything!!
Also, I don't have any resin so I guess I'll need to order it separately.
Hope there is some response on Monday.
It took me longer than I want to admit ...
then again I needed new glasses about two years ago
and sleep ... sleep that helps my eyes focus ;-)
as most are saying the mirror assemblies are where we start learning how to put the peachy together
section 3 ... step 3
pointy tweezers definitely help ...
I tried with needle nose pliers ... the 90 degree flap on the acetate arrows are incredibly slippery
and I never found those animations ...
I didn't start hearing about them until after I was done
I finished steps 1 through 12 ... so the main assembly is "complete"
was waiting for them to post the template for the new stand design
then on to the dripper system
I'm trying to decide if I want to drip some solder onto where the short wire and the coil wire meet for better contact
but I'll leave that until I know if things are working and whether it's needed
be very gentle with the coil wires ... they are quite delicate
Arg, mspohr, I wish I had seen this yesterday. Look to the bottom of the email regarding your package from the Peachy team, the one that informed you that a package was coming. In the same email there is a link to the build instructions, which was also posted in this subforum, and was emailed to you in Kickstarter update #26. And just to make it easy for you: http://instructions.peachyprinter.com/
