Materialise Turns X-Rays into 3D Printed Guides for Surgery

Materialise is in the news yet again with a new innovation, just announced after a knee replacement surgery in Belgium was completed using Materialise technology which goes one step further in using 3D printing with X-rays--it actually turns X-rays into 3D-printed guides for pre-planning surgical procedures. Dr. Roger Jaeken was the orthopedic surgeon who completed this first surgery and was very excited to be of the development process.
