3D Printing is becoming more than just a hobby. This is seen in all of the medical and manufacturing uses. However, it is now also being used extensively for research purposes. Researchers have just recently used 3D Printing to prove that Richard III was not a Hunch-back after all, like previously believe. Instead they have proven, by 3D printing his spine, that he had a case of scoliosis.
