Researchers 3D Print Functional Capillaries

Researchers from both Rice University & Baylor College of Medicine have 3D printed capillaries that are actually capable of transporting blood to tissue. This process, known as tubulogenesis, allows for patient-specific cells to be extracted and will offer great potential for 3D printed organs.
