Biofabrication Institute Opens in Australia

Australia is taking the reins again as far as 3D printing is concerned, with the opening of what they consider to be the hospital of the future. Metro North Hospital and Health Service and QUT are currently working together in opening the Biofabrication Institute at the Herston Health Precinct. The focus is on biofabrication, and at the new facility, they will be using 3D printing, robotics, and other high-tech means in making bone, tissue, and ultimately—organs.
