3D Hubs Releases Three New Plastic Filaments with Strength of Metal

3D Hubs has very exciting news today as they release a lineup of three fiber-reinforced nylons for 3D printing. What’s unique about these materials is that although they are, ultimately, plastics, they allow the strength of metal but at a more affordable price. With the kevlar-, fiberglass- and carbon-reinforced nylons, engineers will find greater accessibility and affordability for making stronger, more durable parts such as jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
