Colorado Professor Creates 3D Printed Books for Blind Children

University of Colorado Boulder professor Tom Yeh has been working with 3D printing for several years to produce picture books for visually impaired children. The Tactile Picture Books Project has expanded into a large open-source community of people whose creative ideas are making it possible for blind children to experience pictures and words just as well as sighted children can.
