Fractured FX and Boston Children's Hospital Team For 3D Printed Medical Models

Fractured FX, the special effects company that recently won an Emmy for its work on American Horror Story, has entered into a partnership with Boston Children's Hospital to produce hyper-realistic surgical models for clinicians to practice dangerous and complicated surgeries. The models, which utilize 3D printing in their manufacture, are a step beyond the 3D printed plastic models that are being used more frequently in hospitals.
