RingPet - 3D Print Your Pets As Rings

Japan-based Ringpet has come up with a fun new business idea that brings together 3D printing, fashion, and love of pets. The aptly-named company offers customers the opportunity to create a customized ring featuring their pet. Once a pet owner uploads a few photos of their pet from various angles, the Ringpet team takes care of the rest, putting together a 3D model and printing it in full color via an SLS powderbed 3D printer. If you want just one ring, it will cost 12,960 Japanese Yen (around $105)--but since then the modeling work is done, each additional ring will then fall in price to just 6,480 Yen (around $53).
