Man 3D Print a Robot that Drives Right off of the Build Plate when Complete

Have you ever considered the day when a 3D printed object will be able to move itself right off of the build platform once its finished printing? I bet this is how car's will end up being made soon. Stop mid print, fill it in with mechanical thing's and start it back up. Drive it right when it's finished printing. This kid should contact Ford :P

well there is already a printer that incorporates electronics modules as it prints - an english company, not sure if it's being crowdfunded or just in the prototype stage.
This guys doing it manually - which is pretty cool.

But there's no way that robot would be able to drive off my build plate. It it was that loosely attached we'd probably have printing issues anyway :-)
