I need to print some parts that are in the .06 - .08mm thickness. They are shaped like a bell or half circle, so they have an opening. I need the material to be rigid, with not much flex at that thickness. Is there anything out there like that, that would be fairly economical as well?
I played around with a friends printer (dental), and the parts came out beautiful, but too flexible.
P.S. I'm a real newbie at this stuff!
There's no plastic printers that can do what you are looking for.
You have to look at DLP printers (not SLA because they do not fit your requirement), DLP printers and resin are not economical at all. They are expansive on short and long run.
Have a look at DWS system, Titan 3D or the B9 creator.
Last option would be SLS, but then I hardly believe they are able to do it, the laser width is usually bigger than 0.1mm and we're talking about big industrial budget.

You'll need a metal sintering printer.
Even metal is going to have some flex at that thickness.
