3D Printed Architecture Comes to the Tel Aviv Museum of Art

Chilean artists Pedro Alonso and Hugo Palmarola use 28 3D printed models to explore global circuits of concrete panels produced between 1931 and 1981. These panels, although not widely discussed in modern architectural scholarship, were building blocks for larger discussion about aesthetics ad politics. Their contribution is included in Tel Aviv Museum of Modern Art's exhibit "Production Routes" which explores the double edge sword of modern architecture as both socially utopian and alienating.
