Create Flexible 3D prints By Putting Wires into the Rigid Material

The team at Filimprimante3D spent just a short time watching the ‘small revolution’ being caused by flexible filament before they decided to add their own twist to it. They noted that while the flexibility is a big plus, the applications of the filament were actually limited as the 3D printing material could be pulled and flexed but then then reverted back to its original shape. Making a simple but genius modification, the Filimprimante3D team designed a 3D model with a shallow trench in the middle so that the 3D print could be stopped to insert a thin metal rod.
