Another Three-legged Dog, Another 3D Printing Miracle
Hobbes, a terrier mix living in California, is surely in with the right group of people. After a team at UC Davis was forced to amputate one of his front legs, second-year veterinary student Andrea Bledsoe adopted the lucky canine and set to work with her colleagues in finding a way to create a 3D printed prosthetic. Fellow graduate students are currently working on an innovative 3D printed prosthetic with the use of a flexible harness and leg fashioned with NinjaFlex.
