Makerfarm i3v prusa. does it really print well at 50 micron layers?

I'm getting ready to purchase my first 3d printer. leaning towards the makerfarm i3v prusa. How well does it perform when it's being used for 50 micron layers? And are there any other printers capable of doing 50 micron layers that are <$1000 that are worth getting?

I'm more concerned with resolution than overall print size, and I'm wanting something that has a heated platform. Just wanting people's opinions on if the choice I'm leaning towards is the best bang for my buck, or if there is something better that I've missed. As well as any first hand experience with the makerfarm i3v prusa on it's highest resolution settings.
