Artist Se Yoon Park Uses 3D Printing to Create Trees

Architect, designer and artist Se Yoon Park recently opened an exhibition entitled "Light, Darkness and the Tree" at his Brooklyn gallery. An exploration of the balance between darkness and light, as well as the necessity of them both, the installation is composed of a series of 3D printed trees created with i.materialise's polyamide material. The results are beautiful, displaying striking contrast between light and darkness through subtle gradations of color, shadows, and illumination.
