Oslo Norway Gets 3D Printed

Oslo’s Agency for Planning and Building Services is now proudly displaying a 1:1,000 scale, 3D printed model of the Norwegian city. An eight-member team used the latest software and data collection to create the complex model, which represents an area of 34.8km² (about 13.5 square miles) within the city’s central area. Overall, the 3D printed model measures 7.6m x 4.5m (24.9’ x 14.7’) and was printed using two 3D Systems ZPrinter 650 3D printers.
