3D Printed Surgical Instruments for Patient-Specific Care

Upon creating 3D printed surgical instruments for use at Hospital Regional Universitario de Málaga, Dr. Ignacio DÃ*az de Tuesta has opened a new world of care for patients. With these instruments, surgeons can offer completely specialized and patient-specific care during procedures such as aortic valve replacement, changes of aorta segments by aneurysms or aortic dissections, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
