Purdue Students Invent New Soy Based Filament, Filasoy

The environment is on everyone's mind when we talk about petroleum based 3d printer filaments. This has led to several innovations in the last year or two around the filament market. One of these innovations were from three Purdue Students, who created a soy based 3d printer filament called Filasoy.

That sounds interesting, but there's very little information about the filament; the only data available is the printing temperature (220-230C), which is already very interesting because it may suggest a higher glass transition temperature than PLA, which is the biggest drawback of that material.
It would also be interesting to know how much it shrink (or doesn't).
