3D Printing May Help Speed up Computers

As we’re always looking to make our computers and data transmissions go faster and faster, researchers have been working to create a better way to use light beams in navigating curves at rapid speed without losing earned energy while transmitting data over ECBs. The solution, in combination with laser writing, has been created by two different research teams -- from the University of Central Florida and the University of Texas El Paso -- who have made 3D printed guides that steer the light around curves as quickly as needed rather than gradually, with the risk of losing energy.
