littleBits and Shapeways Smarter Than Your Home Challenge

Shapeways and littleBits are collaborating to present the 3D + IoT: Make Smarter Gadgets Make-a-Thon. Makers and 3Ders are challenged to transform mundane household objects into smarter versions of themselves using 3D printing and littleBits. The contest begins with a day-long workshop at littleBits headquarters in New York City this Saturday, February 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The contest itself has two deadlines: Projects need to be submitted by March 28 and five finalists must have completed their last tweaks by April 30. The overall winner gets 100 Modules from littleBits and a $500 3D printing credit from Shapeways.
