North Korea May Be Getting into 3D Printing Soon

Is North Korea getting into 3D printing? Well, they're at least talking about the technology. At a recent trade show in Pyongyang, an organization called the Pyongyang Machinery and Technology Exchange advertised a 3D printer with a brochure describing the technology as capable of reducing production costs up to 30 percent. No printer was actually onsite at the trade show, but the brochure pictured one - curiously, it looked pretty much identical to a first-generation MakerBot Replicator.
