3D Systems Stock Down on Preliminary Report

As if things couldn't get worse for shareholders of 3D Systems' stock, today the company issued a preliminary report for their first quarter 2015 earnings. The are now estimating revenue for the quarter to come in at around $158 to $160 million, and earnings per share of about $0.02 to $0.04. Analysts were expecting revenues of $183.5 million and an EPS for the quarter of $0.17. The majority of the declines come way of the strong US dollar, which has caused as much as $12 million in revenue to go unrealized.
