University of Pittsburgh Receives $1.7M Grant from America Makes

America Makes has followed through on their program and third-call requests for projects to receive multi-million dollar funding to accelerate 3D printing in the US. The University of Pittsburgh has continued to benefit, as with this program they received another $1.7 million for two different faculty members to continue two intense 3D printing research and development projects which should themselves yield highly beneficial rewards for the country, and more specifically for the driving force behind America Makes-- the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining.
