Legacy Effects Is Killing it with 3D Modeling and Printing

Legacy Effects is probably one of the better known Hollywood special effects companies out there. They have worked movies like Robocop, Ironman, Terminator, you name it, even Steven Speilberg on Jurassic Park. What most people didn't know, until recently, was that they also use 3D modelling and 3D Printing on a fairly large scale. Today they released a 8 minute video showing the world just how they utilize new 3D printing technologies for their movie special effects:

It's quite amazing how detailed they can get things, and how much time they save of hand sculpting pieces.
