A Look Inside BioPrinting - Results of Survey By Xanofi and Izumi

Both Xanofi and Izumi, companies involved in bioprinting research, will be able to use the feedback received from their ‘3D Bioprinting Survey.’ While showing that researchers are indeed open to using 3D printing in bioprinting on all levels of expertise, they use mainly hydrogels and collagen as bioink, and prefer the syringe and needle technique for dispersing. Researchers, while some just being downright annoyed by the process, professed a need for better resolution and speed in 3D printers, as well as better and different materials, and more standardized software to accompany the process.
