3D Systems Acquires American Precision Prototyping and American Precision Machining

3D Systems is at it again, adding two additional acquisitions to the laundry list of companies they have acquired over the last few years. Yesterday the company announced the acquisition of two sister companies, American Precision Prototyping and American Precision Machining. The acquisitions will strengthen 3D Systems' aerospace presence, and allow them to expand their service bureau offerings here in the United states. Both companies have a combined 24 years experience within the rapid prototyping and manufacturing service bureau industries, with business relations with Boeing, NASA, and GE.
