GE Power Invests $73 Million in a Huge Facility, Focus on 3D Printing

GE Power has invested $73 million in a new 125,000-square-foot facility in Greenville, South Carolina. The Advanced Manufacturing Works facility (AMW) will focus on the development of new additive manufacturing processes, along with robotics, automation, advanced software and other technologies that have the potential to turn GE into the next big name in digital manufacturing.
