Swarmscapers: Incredible Robots That 3D Print in Outlying Areas

The Swarmscapers are a creation of student architects at California College of the Arts. With the idea that they should be to handle architecture and also the tools needed for building, the students came up with a 3D printing robot capable of working in hostile conditions, like space or the desert. With the ability to use materials in the local region for 3D printing, buildings could be constructed through 3D printing for colonization in outlying areas, or somewhere like the moon, or Mars.
