Ford Now Using Carbon3D CLIP 3D Printers

Today Ford has revealed that they have been using Carbon3D's CLIP 3D printers since December of last year for both prototyping and manufacturing. The company says that the new 3D printers are capable of printing parts which are very close to those used within actual vehicles and that the time it takes to print is at least 3 times that of traditional 3D printers. The company also is looking at creating new materials to use within the printers capable of conductivity.
